Pres. Morales signs MOA with Tanggol Kalikasan

President Minerva I. Morales renewed CSC’s partnership with the Tanggol Kalikasan for the implementation of its Institute of Environment Governance (IEG) program through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing during the 3rd IEG Partners’ Meeting in Manila on April 26-27, 2012, in time with the celebration of Tanggol Kalikasan 25th Anniversary.

The Institute of Environmental Governance, in partnership with CSC, serves the training and capability building needs of local government units and barangay officials, NGO workers and other national and local government unit staff in the area of environmental management and protection. It enlists the expertise of selected faculty members and staff of CSC, other officers and staff of LGU and national government offices, including those from NGOs, as tutors and coordinators.

The VP for REPA, Dr. Aida A. Dianela, was designated as Focal Person of the CSC in this eco-governance and education partnership.
