CSC produces 13 new CPAs
Thirteen graduates of Catanduanes State Colleges passed the October 2011 Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy, Professional Regulation Commission.

CSC obtained a 61.9 percent passing rate which is higher than the 47.7 percent national passing rate. This is also one of the highest performances recorded by CSC in the CPA board examination in recent years.

The new CSC CPAs are Asuncion, Rodessa R.; Bon, Maria Rosaminda S.; Reodique, Ana Liza T.; Samar, Czarina Mae G.; Santelices, Myrna D.;

Tabor, Jacqueline N.; Tanael, Ezekiel V.; Torres, Jennifer S.; Tumala, Crisalyn SG.;

Ubalde, Emma T.; Vergara, Jason O.; Vitalicio, Lalaine S.; Zafe, Sarah Jane E.

Meanwhile, apart from the 13 passers, two other examinees from CSC got conditional ratings in the said CPA board exam. Examinees with conditional ratings will only have to retake a subject with a score below the cut off score.(GSRubio/PR and Information Services)
