Latest News Message from the CSC President

On behalf of the Catanduanes State Colleges community, I warmly welcome all the guests and participants in this annual Region V State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) meet. This is the third time that we are hosting SCUAA V Meet – the first in 1993, and then in 2001.

In almost auspiciously parallel intervals, we once more host this regional sporting event this 2008 and with this augurs another hope that this will be an even more significant accomplishment for us. Your being part of this event, indeed, forms part of this yet another milestone undertaking of the Catanduanes State Colleges.

We have done our best to make the games a true demonstration of sportsmanship and camaraderie. We assure you of a leveled playing field, so to speak, apart from other important preparations that we have made to make your stay here pleasant, safe and convenient. As host, this is our paramount concern.

As we gather here, let us do our best to bring forth the true meaning of this athletic competition. As I have always believed, this will once more enable us to close ranks and reinforce our remarkable strength as one unified Region V SUC.

Good luck and Mabuhay!
